Staff bookwarming with Hanna Neuschwander Feb. 12

Join the Lewis & Clark Bookstore Tuesday, February 12 at 3:30 p.m. to celebrate Graduate School Director of Communications Hanna Neuschwander’s latest book Left Coast Roast!

Neuschwander will lead guests in a coffee tasting, demonstrate ways to make a great cup of coffee at home, share some of the best places to grab a cup of coffee in Portland, and discuss the issue of sustainability surrounding coffee.

Left Coast Roast
takes readers down the West coast, from Seattle to San Francisco, exploring 55 of the best regional roasters. Neuschwander chronicles the local history as well as tips for making the perfect pour-over at home.  

Neuscwander first started learning about coffee while working at the local Extracto Coffeehouse in Northeast Portland. Since then, she has traveled throughout the Pacific Northwest meeting and learning from expert roasters. In addition to writing Roast, she has contributed to Portland Monthly, Willamette Week, Edible Seattle and Roast Magazine.
