The Office of Student Leadership and Service (SLS) hosts the annual Leadership and Service Awards ceremony every spring semester to honor outstanding contributions to the community by students, staff, faculty, student organizations, and community partners.

Assistant Dean of Diversity and Academic Resources JB Kim received the Outstanding Staff Award
The Office of Student Leadership and Service (SLS) hosts the annual Leadership and Service Awards ceremony every spring semester to honor outstanding contributions to the community by students, staff, faculty, student organizations, and community partners. SLS understands leadership and service to include a process for collaborative positive social change, an honest commitment to showing up, and active support of others without personal gain.
“For me, service means working for the greater good, widely defined,” Assistant Dean of Diversity and Academic Resources JB Kim said. “Leadership is encouraging others to live up to their best potentials.”
