Extreme Heat Precautions and Resources
As temperatures begin to rise, please take precautions and note that the Fowler Student Center will be open as a designated air-conditioned cooling station.
The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures in the 90s or higher this week. Please remember that extreme heat may increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. Be prepared to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned spaces when possible, and stay out of the sun.
To help those of you who will be on campus, Fowler Student Center will be open as a designated air-conditioned cooling station, and drinking water will be available in the lobby next to the Fields Dining Room.
