Update on the Search for Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students

A national search has begun for the next Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students.

On Monday, June 25, a national search began for the next Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students.

After current Dean Anna Gonzalez announced her resignation, the firm Summit Search Solutions was hired to help conduct the national search for a permanent replacement for Anna Gonzalez.

As search committee chair, Associate Vice President for Institutional Research and Planning Mark Figueroa is asking the Lewis & Clark community to review the position description and share the information with their professional networks.

“With the goal of hiring someone to start in January 2019, we are hoping our colleagues here at LC might be able to recommend talented candidates for us to consider as we review applications this summer,” Figueroa said.

The search committee is convening later this summer, with the goal of scheduling on-campus interviews in October. Public interview sessions for community members will be announced as dates and times become available.
