  • Image preview 3:30pm - 5:00pm: EdTech Series - Audience Response Systems
Traditionally associated with large lecture halls, the next generation of BYOD (bring your own device) audience response systems open doors for classes of all sizes. We’ll look at three tools: Poll Everywhere, PearDeck, and Tophat, all of which allow audiences to use their own devices to engage with your presentation. There will also be some discussion on how to assess the valuable data these systems are capable of collecting.

Traditional modeling tools like AutoCAD are expensive and have a steep learning curve.  Fortunately for us, there is new, free software that makes modeling more accessible than ever before. In this workshop, we’ll learn about the basic tools for 3D modeling, and start designing our own models. By the end, each participant will have created their own, printable 3D model!
