    Come and hear how faculty are using tablets in the classroom. Discuss how and when the use of tablets might enhance the teaching and learning processes in your classroom.
  • 10:30am - 11:45am: Student Multimedia Collaborative Projects
    Come brainstorm with colleagues on innovative methods, tips, tools, and tricks for giving students opportunities to express their ideas in new and exciting ways. We’ll discuss scaffolding, assessment, rubrics, visualizations, images, video, and instructional strategies. Come to reinvigorate current projects or brainstorm something new!
  • 10:30am - 11:45am: What’s Next for Big Data at LC?
    Join us to discuss how to best move forward with big data at L&C. Let’s review the list of challenges and opportunities identified over the course of the week. Are there quick solutions to specific challenges? Opportunities and resources we can use? Specific expertise we need to develop?
  • 10:30am - 11:45am: Digitize!
    We all have collections of photos and slides, films and videotapes, and cassette tapes and records that we’d love to have copies of in digital form, but how to go about it? In this hands-on workshop you can explore digitization options available here on campus.  Bring an item that you’d like to immortalize digitally, e.g. that sweet mixtape from ’85.  Sorry–no 8-tracks.
