Effective Online Discussions
When thoughtfully incorporated into your course, online discussions can successfuly extend the walls of your classroom and encourage student-to-student interaction. In this session, we’ll show you how to set up discussion forums in Moodle, demonstrate some traditional classroom activities that can be accomplished through online forums, and discuss tips and techniques for structuring online forum assignments that both engage and instruct. Strategies discussed apply to online discussions in general and are not Moodle specific.
