Classroom Tech Update: Where are the webcams?

As part of a return to in-person instruction at the College of Arts and Sciences, IT’s Academic Operations team is removing webcams installed for hybrid teaching. We realize there are occasions where faculty teaching in Fir Acres campus classrooms may need a webcam to Zoom in a guest lecturer or for an academic event.
Webcams are available for checkout by faculty and students from the Service Desk loaner pool. Additionally, Academic Operations would be happy to provide a webcam to administrative assistants to make obtaining one more convenient for faculty. The admin assistant would be responsible for keeping track of the webcam. Alternatively, you may also email itservice@lclark.edu to open a ticket, and request that Academic Operations drop off a webcam to a faculty or admin assistant for that particular use.
