Increased Campus Signage Improves High-Traffic Areas

  • Directional signage posted on the entrance to Agnes Flanagan Chapel.
  • “Enter Here” sign posted at the bookstore entrance in the Templeton Campus Center.
  • Orange dots indicate where to stand when waiting in a line.

In an effort to increase social distancing and improve safety, directional signage has been posted in high-traffic areas across campus. Entrances, exits, and hallways are marked to indicate one-way traffic in buildings such as Agnes Flanagan Chapel, Evans, JR Howard, Miller, Olin, Pamplin, and the Manor House.

“The signage is meant to help prevent people from passing each other and from congregating,” Assistant Director of Budget and Planning Denise King said.
