Devan Freeman

As our marketing manager, Devan is grateful to be able to see all sides of Lewis & Clark. She loves collaborating with our departments and offices across the undergraduate, graduate, and law campuses and uplifting a variety of voices through our media channels. Whether she is working on a social media project, revamping a website, or collaborating with her student workers, she is always excited to see what her day holds.

Devan is a graduate of the University of Portland, where she studied biology and political science. She was very involved in UP’s community, most prominently in the the Office of Admissions, where she found her passion for higher education and social media. She loves working with students and helping to tell the stories of the people around her.

Although Devan has called Portland home for the past six years, she is originally from Texas, and “y’all” is definitely still in her vocabulary! Outside of work she can be found rock climbing, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and trying every restaurant her bank account can manage (ask her about her extensive list of coffee shops she has tried around PDX).
