Tell us a little bit about your background and what brought you to Lewis & Clark College?
I spent 6 years working at Oregon Culinary Institute in various roles. Working as an administrative assistant was my favorite role. I loved how every day was slightly different but the year followed a pattern. Every term I’d help set up student orientation and later in the year I took part in graduation ceremonies. I enjoyed supporting & connecting with the students and the staff. That school was life changing for so many people and I am lucky to have been a part of it.
What are your HR specialties that people can reach out to you for?
I can help you with general questions. If need be, I can redirect you to one of our team members. You’ll probably meet me from completing the I-9 document verification step during the employment process.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I am a vocalist in a band. I enjoy singing, dancing, concerts and art. I also have a strong interest in health and nutrition. I find the medicinal properties of food fascinating. In fact, I have a culinary arts diploma from OCI. Although, they used plenty of sugar, fat and salt- I get creative and tweak those recipes towards a healthy dish.
