HR Policies

The Lewis & Clark College Personnel Policies and Procedures is published for the exclusive use of staff and faculty at the College. It describes the general policies and procedures used by the College. It is not, however, intended to create nor is it to be construed as a contract of employment or as a specific promise that specific procedures will be followed in any specific situation. The College reserves the right to determine in its absolute discretion if a procedure will be followed given the circumstances of the specific situation. From time to time, Lewis & Clark College must modify its policies. Information is current as of the most recent approval date on the policy and may be subject to change or repeal at any time, with or without notice, as the discretion of the College.

Although many of our employees have worked with us for a number of years, nothing in this manual should be construed nor is it intended to imply that any employee is employed for a definite duration. Employment of staff and administrators is at the will of the College and may be terminated at any time for any reason with or without notice.
