Volunteers Needed for Undergraduate Covid Testing Clinic

As you know, the College is conducting weekly testing clinics for a sampling of persons on campus (e.g., a portion of on-campus students, off-campus students, employees in close contact with students, etc.). In order to implement this plan, assistance from our community is needed.

We continue to need volunteers to assist with testing clinics on the following dates:

  • Friday, April 30 - volunteers will report to Agnes Flanagan Chapel
  • Tuesday, May 4 - volunteers will report to Agnes Flanagan Chapel

If you can assist, please sign up in the sheet below:

Testing volunteers assist with the management of social distancing as well as the distribution and collection of basic information. With our new self-service based model of testing, volunteers also assist with distribution of testing materials and connecting the testing supplies to the testing platform.

Training related to all volunteer tasks are provided on site. The majority of volunteer roles are conducted with complete social distancing. However, some roles may involve passing materials at arm’s length, through a plexiglass barrier. All volunteers will be provided with procedure masks (which are better than most traditional masks); face shields; and gloves if desired. COVID testing is also available each Tuesday on a voluntary basis for any person who volunteered for the previous week’s clinic.

Please note: Hourly employees will be paid for volunteer time and should receive permission from their supervisor prior to volunteering.

Our entire community appreciates your effort to help our testing program succeed.
