Exempt Staff Invited to Offer Feedback on New L&C Staff Council Proposal

Last summer, six exempt employees formed a working group to research ways of organizing a Lewis & Clark Staff Council. Exempt staff—unlike faculty and union staff—do not currently have an organized body within the institution to support their work, promote collaboration and communication, and to serve as an advisory body to the Executive Council.

The Status of Campus COVID-19 Restrictions and a Vaccination Rate Update

We are in the process of updating all of our COVID-related policies regarding events, travel, face coverings, testing, etc., and will share those policies, as well as an updated COVID webpage, in mid-July. In the meantime, the current requirement that unvaccinated persons wear face coverings when inside campus buildings remains in place.

Crucial Conversations  teaches how to avoid conflict and come to positive solutions in high-stakes conversations so you can be effective in your personal and professional life.

One L&C invites LC faculty and staff to join us in this 28-day challenge for those who identify as having white privilege to do the hard and uncomfortable work necessary to examine privilege and move awareness into action to do better. While this workbook is aimed at those identifying as white, all are welcome to join in this work.
