Activity Dates and Completion Display Settings in Moodle

Moodle helps students manage upcoming deadlines and tasks by displaying due dates and required tasks in both the activity and course page.

Instructors can choose to hide the display of due dates or required tasks in course settings.

1. Click on the Gear Wheel icon in your course.
2. Select Edit Course Settings.
3. In the Appearance section, choose whether to show or hide activity dates.
4. In the Completion tracking section, choose whether to show or hide activity completion conditions.

To disable or edit activity completion for individual activities and resources, edit the activity settings and scroll down to Activity Completion settings:

To disable activity completion entirely for your course, under Edit Settings (the gear icon), scroll down to ‘Completion Tracking’ and toggle ‘Enable Completion Tracking’ to ‘No.’
