Issue: Share Screen freezes when using Zoom on Mac OS Big Sur
Quote from an afflicted user: “When I share my screen on zoom it shows up fine for a few minutes and then freezes. If I try to re-share it gets stuck on a black screen for the viewers.”
It seems that the problem is with a wired Ethernet connection. If you use wireless there should be no problem. However, we still recommend using a wired connection when possible to improve overall stability.
Zoom released an update to fix the problem on March 7th. Go here to update to Zoom 5.5.5.
